The University of Sewing is a BERNINA sewing machine and Longarm dealer in Bloomington, IN. We opened in 2017 to teach sewing. We currently sell apparel, quilting fabric, patterns, BERNINA and Bernette sewing machines, and sewing notions. We offer sewing classes, BERNINA mastery lessons, and events all year long. We service BERNINA and Bernette sewing machines. We’d like to personally invite you to stop by today for all your sewing needs.

WOW! I'm SO very impressed! Largest and cleanest sewing & quilting store I've ever been in! Make sure you take a towel for the droolies when you see all these new Bernina's as you walk in! I have an old 'Nina that I just can't part with. Not only did she need cleaned & oiled, but during my last move, the movers broke my stitch width control. University of Sewing fixed my machine and gave me a VERY reasonable price for everything they did - SO much more affordable than Indianapolis (and a much more quiet, comfortable trip and way better neighborhood!). I truly believe I've found my permanent Bernina home! They even sell beautiful knit fabric there! And every notion you could ever dream of...interfacing, everyyyything. I could not be more happy about this shop, and how good 'Nina & I were treated. Keep up the great work!
